Prognostic Index for Spine Metastasis: PRISM

This software computes the algorithm used for calculating the Prognostic Index for Spine Metastasic model, a survival stratification score, was created to identify outlying patients with poor and excellent survival. Refer to original article for more information.

100: Normal no complaints; no evidence of disease.

90: Able to carry on normal activity; minor signs or symptoms of disease.

80: Normal activity with effort; some signs or symptoms of disease.

70: Cares for self; unable to carry on normal activity or to do active work.

60: Requires occasional assistance, but is able to care for most of his personal needs.

50 or less: Requires considerable assistance and frequent medical care

The grouping categories go from group 4 with the worst prognosis to group 1 with the best prognosis.
Survival Groups Score Range:
Group 4: ≤0
Group 3: 1-3
Group 2: 4-7
Group 1: ≥7
